Wayne Rooney blasts Jose Mourinho for man management skills

Mourinho’s lack of skills

Jose Mourinho’s time at Manchester United was marked with rows.

Mourinho and the majority of the players failed to see eye to eye.

While many people focused on the issues with Paul Pogba and Antony Martial, another player has now come out and made their feelings known.

Wayne Rooney has admitted he thought Mourinho didn’t know how to deal with younger players.

The forward added he expected more from Mourinho during their time together.

The Express said: “In my opinion, obviously having been there with him for a year, he didn’t [keep the players on his side].

“That was the one surprise that I had, that his communication with the players wasn’t as much as it could have been.”

An uncertain future

Mourinho is now taking an enforced break.

He won’t be short of options when he returns to management, but his time in England seems done for now.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both fired Mourinho, and unless he looks to a so called lesser club, his options are limited.

Both Real Madrid and PSG are huge clubs and possible candidates for Mourinho.

The other option is his former club Inter Milan.

There’s also the chance Mourinho could decide to go into international management – and try and win the World Cup.

Either way, it seems he will be back at some point, and isn’t planning to leave the game.
