Ronaldinho’s playing career
Ronaldinho is regarded to be one of the best players of his generation.
He won many major honours during his career such as the La Liga title, the Serie A title, the Champions League and the World Cup.
He also won the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2004 and 2005 and the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2005 too.
With that being said, it is understandable to see why Barcelona wanted the Brazilian legend to return to the club in a new ambassador role.
Ronaldinho returns to Barcelona
The 36-year-old, Ronaldinho, who was very influential on the pitch, is hoping he can have the same effect off the pitch, when teaming up with the club for the second time in this new role.
Barcelona are opening a new office in New York to enhance their growth internationally on 6th September.
This has brought about them re-signing Ronaldinho as they want him to act as ambassador for the club over in the USA.
With this being said, one thing is for certain – if Ronaldinho is good an ambassador as he was with his feet back in his day at the Camp Nou, Barcelona will be a very happy club.
