Romelu Lukaku’s finishing called into question vs Arsenal

Arsenal vs Man United

Arsenal hosted Manchester United in Sunday’s late kick-off.

Both sides are competing for a Champions League place this season with Man United starting the day in 4th place.

Arsenal began the weekend in 5th place, one point behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

6th place Chelsea are also on the heels of both Arsenal and United but they would be held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves earlier in the day.

United would also draw level on points with third place Spurs if they beat Arsenal.

The Red Devils were also undefeated under OGS in the Premier League before Sunday’s clash.

However, that unbeaten run would come to an end on Sunday at the Emirates.

Arsenal would have just one shot on target in the first 45 but that strike from Granit Xhaka would give the Gunners a 1-0 lead.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would then kill the game off in the 69th minute from the penalty spot.

After losing their first league game under OGS, United fans have been slating Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian has been in great form recently, scoring a brace in his last three outings in all competitions.

However, vs Arsenal, Lukaku missed several big chances that could have changed the game for Man United.
