Romelu Lukaku’s agent confirms Inter Milan are trying to sign him
Lukaku on his way to Inter?
Romelu Lukaku didn’t have the greatest 2018/19 season with Manchester United.
The Belgian struggled for form under Jose Mourinho, and was then dropped from the starting eleven once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed interim boss.
Lukaku would eventually work his way back into a more prominent first-team role. But he still managed just 15 goals in 41 appearances this past season.
After such an average season, Lukaku has been linked with a move away from United.
Inter Milan have been the club most heavily rumoured to be in for him
Lukaku has himself expressed a desire to play in Serie A at some point.
Now, Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello, who was recorded outside Inter’s offices on Tuesday, confirmed to reporters that the Nerazzurri are trying to sign his client:
“Lukaku is a dream and is not easy to realize it… but yes, Inter are trying to get him. Romelu has expressed his wishes (to leave Man United)”

Ben Yedder to Old Trafford?
On the same day, the Mirror are reporting that United are considering Sevilla’s Wissam Ben Yedder as a replacement for the Belgian.
The report from the Mirror also alleges that Sevilla would be willing to part ways with Ben Yedder for £36 million.
Ben Yedder would score 30 and assist 11 in 54 appearances across all competitions this past season.
The Frenchman is currently contracted to Sevilla until 2021.
