Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku this afternoon reached a momentous milestone in his Premier League career, after finding the net early on versus Swansea City.
The two sides are currently locked in action at Old Trafford, with hosts United having come into proceedings looking to take back 2nd-place in the Premier league table, after Liverpool leapfrogged Jose Mourinho’s men with their win over Crystal Palace earlier today.
Swansea, meanwhile, sat 4 places and 3 points clear of the English top-flight’s relegation zone before today, though Carlos Carvalhal’s men did hold games in hand over a number of clubs below them.

The early moments of today’s clash unsurprisingly saw hosts United on top, with the early dominance of the Red Devils having paid off in a major way with just 5 minutes on the clock, as Alexis Sanchez’s pull back following a flowing move saw Romelu Lukaku’s strike loop up and past the helpless Lukasz Fabianski in the Swansea goal.
And the goal, while easing any early nerves that may have been around Old Trafford, also marked a special moment in the career of Lukaku, as showcased below:
