Lukaku’s hint at a move to Inter Milan?
Romelu Lukaku has claimed that Antonio Conte is ‘the best manager in the world’m amid Inter Milan’s reported interest in the Manchester United striker.
Lukaku has not exactly thrived since leaving Everton for Old Trafford.
The Belgian was initially solid for Manchester United but soon started to struggle.
Now, with the player looking more like a rotation striker under Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Lukaku could leave this summer.
After his two goals against Scotland this week, Lukaku has now spoken out about a potential Serie A move.
“I already made my decision…”
Speaking after the game, the Belgian lauded former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, before explaining that he’s made a decision over his future.
”It’s a good thing that Conte went to Inter, for me he’s the best manager in the world,” Lukaku explained, as quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio.
“Regarding my future, I know it will be a long and busy summer, I have to wait until United but I already made my decision that I can’t communicate publicly out of respect for the contract I have with the Red Devils.
”I was on the verge of joining Juventus in the past, but I sensed something was wrong. Two days later Conte left. Thank God I didn’t go.
“I’m a big fan of Serie A, those close to me know that I want to play in English and Italian league, I love Italy.
“Now Cristiano Ronaldo arrived, Sarri will go to Juventus, and Ancelotti is at Napoli: it will be an exciting Serie A”.
