Roberto Pereyra injury update before Watford vs Everton

Watford vs Everton

Watford welcome back Marco Silva on Saturday as they play host to his Everton side.

The Hornets start the weekend 8th in the league, four points below 7th place Wolves.

They are, however, just one point above Saturday’s opponents Everton who sit 9th in the division.

Watford have lost just one of their last five league games. However, they have only won one of those, drawing three.

Everton, on the other hand, have not been in great form, losing three of their last five.

The Toffees also had to play in midweek were they lost 1-0 to Man City thanks to another set piece goal.

Roberto Pereyra injury update

Heading into the Everton game, Javi Gracia has given an update on Roberto Pereyra.

Pereyra has been a key member of Watford’s squad this season, scoring six and assisting two in the league.

Unfortunately, Pereyra would miss Watford’s last game vs Brighton due to injury.

The Argentine is also likely to miss out vs Everton. Speaking about Pereyra, Gracia stated:

“It is something in his hamstring. He needs more time to recover. In a couple of days we’ll see if he will be ready.

“It is always important not to lose a player like Roberto, but you know I don’t like to complain about players I don’t have”
