Leaked BT Sport footage shows Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole calling Kyle Walker a ‘liability’

Kyle Walker celebrates goal vs Newcastle

Walker is not good enough

During Chelsea’s win over Manchester City, doubts were raised about their defenders.

Kyle Walker in particular was the one who came in for some stick at half time.

It was off camera, and BT Sport pundits Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole probably never thought this would be aired.

They made it clear how little they felt of Walker – and how Chelsea and other good sides can punish City.

Players like Eden hazard are key to that.

However, they forgot the golden rule – be careful what you’re saying when you’ve got a mike on.

It was picked up by someone in the crowd and they of course put it on social media.

City are second

Many people felt Man City may have run away with the title this season.

Last time out that was certainly the case.

However, this season Liverpool are pushing them game for game.

Chelsea may have been the ones to take points off City and Liverpool, but the Blues are in a fight for the top four.

It could even be the case that Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea end up pushing into the title race if more points are dropped.

At the minute, it seems that Liverpool and City are in a league of their own.
