Richarlison heaps praise on Marco Silva ahead of Chelsea

Everton travel to Chelsea on Sunday in what will be a very tough test for the Toffees. Ahead of the game, Richarlison has been heaping praise on Everton boss, Marco Silva.

‘He will show me videos of my performances, what I’ve done well and what mistakes I’ve made’

When commenting on how Silva has helped him, the Brazilian stated:

“He is always helping me out and I’ll continue to improve.

“Everyone can see my development here at Everton. Marco Silva has been really important in this aspect, he will show me videos of my performances, what I’ve done well and what mistakes I’ve made and how I can correct them.”

Richarlison also commented on his new role for Everton at the centre of their attack:

“It’s a position I know well as I was playing as a number 9 at Atletico Miniero and my characteristics suit it.

“What is important is when I get a chance to score I want to put it away.

“I need to thank my teammates, though, because they are the ones who make the passes and give me a chance to score. That’s what Everton is about, we’re a team – we want to help each other.”

Chelsea vs Everton

While Richarlison has been a star player for Everton this season, the Brazilian is a doubt for Sunday’s clash.

This would be a huge blow for Everton and would make their task even harder.

Chelsea are currently second in the Premier League and are the only English side to be unbeaten in all competitions this season.

As for Everton, they are 9th in the table having won four of their last five games.

But if they do have to play Chelsea without Richarlison, it is very unlikely they will come away will all three points.
