Revealed: Vardy’s impressive record under Brendan Rodgers after Arsenal

Also, if Chelsea beat Manchester United in Sunday’s late kick-off, the Gunners will now go four points behind 4th place after losing to Leicester.

Vardy’s superb goalscoring form

Unai Emery’s side suffered a big blow in the first 45 as Ainslie Maitland-Niles was shown a second yellow in the 36th minute,

Youri Tielemans would then give Leicester the lead in the 59th minute.

Jamie Vardy then put the result beyond doubt with a brace of goals in the 86th and 95th minute.

Vardy’s second of the day was also his 100th Leicester goal.

Brendan Rodgers has now taken charge of eight league games for the Foxes.

In those eight games, Jamie Vardy has been in superb form and has found the net nine times.

As a result, Vardy has now scored more Premier League goals than anybody else in said period under Rodgers.
