Revealed: What Luke Shaw said to Jose Mourinho after Man United bust-up

Bullying

Jose Mourinho and Luke Shaw don’t enjoy the best relationship if reports in the press are to be believed, and it seems that the Man United left back has now called his manager out on the treatment that has left many people shocked and confused.

The United players and fans are reported to be worried over the way Shaw has been treated by his manager, and after the humiliation against Brighton, Shaw confronted his manager, with shouts so loud the staff down the corridor could hear them.

The  Daily Mail claim that he asked Mourinho “Why are you always picking on me?” and that the United boss explained Shaw isn’t working hard enough, and there were too many chances created on his side – leaving Shaw upset and then seeking assurances over his Man United future.

Moving

Shaw may well be one of a number of players on his way out of Manchester United this summer, with Mourinho reportedly willing to axe up to six players and bring in the same number to make his side into a team he feels will be able to compete with Manchester City when it comes to the title race.

Mourinho has made it clear he thinks there is far more the United board need to do, and it seems they are willing to back their manager for now at least, and Shaw will be one of the names on the list to leave – with other clubs keen on landing him, including Spurs, where he of course knows manager Mauricio Pochettino well – and with United considering a move for Danny Rose, a player plus cash swap deal may be on the cards.
