Huddersfield vs Newcastle

Huddersfield take on Newcastle on Saturday as they look to climb out of the relegation zone.

The Terriers are currently 18th in the table and have lost their last three Premier League games.

They are also the lowest scorers in the league this season, netting just 10 times in 16 matches.

However, a win vs Newcastle could see Huddersfield move out of the relegation zone and potentially up to 16th place.

As for Newcastle, they head into the game in 15th place and are currently on a three-game winless run.

The Magpies last fixture saw them lose 2-1 to Wolves on Sunday.

Newcastle will also be without DeAndre Yedlin, who was sent off vs Wolves and potentially Federico Fernandez who was taken of injured vs Wolves as they prepare to take on Huddersfield.

Four fresh Huddersfield injuries after Arsenal

However, while Newcastle look likely to have some defensive issues heading into Saturday’s game, Huddersfield lost a fair few players to injury over the weekend.

Huddersfield took on Arsenal on Saturday and lost 1-0 thanks to a late Lucas Torreira goal.

As well as coming away with zero points, Huddersfield also lost Tommy Smith to a hamstring injury.

Aaron Mooy, Terence Kongolo and Jonathan Hogg also picked up knocks in the weekends’ defeat.

All of these players would be a big miss for Huddersfield, especially Aaron Mooy who has scored two of their 10 league goals this season.
