West Ham are looking for a new manager after David Moyes left the club today, and it seems that there are some top names in the frame to take over at the club.
Moyes just saved them from the drop after a terrible season on and off the field, and the fans, board and players know that things have to be better next time round.
According to Sky Bet, the most likely names to take over from Moyes are as follows:
The Hammers aren’t the only club looking for a new manager, with Sam Allardyce sacked this morning and told his services would no longer be required at Everton.
While Marco Silva is a 25/1 shout for the West Ham job, he’s one of the leading candidates to take over at Everton, having been considered to take over earlier in the season – with rumours the club could even face sanctions should Watford report them for tapping Silva up while he was in charge there.
Both clubs need a change come next season, and it’s never easy but Everton look like they’re making real progress in terms of the structure of the club and actually giving fans what they want and trying to produce decent football on the field while also having ambition as well, meaning the job could be a good one for Silva to take.
As for the Hammers, quite if they’re going to move up the table or do anything at all with the current board in place remains to be seen, and the fan discontent that has been milling around the club for some time doesn’t seem to be going away.
