Real Madrid & Chelsea
Chelsea could soon be under siege from Real Madrid in the transfer market if the London Evening Standard are accurate.
There’s a renewed verve around Real Madrid this Tuesday after Zinedine Zidane’s return.
Zidane has worked wonders at the Santiago Bernabeu in his first stint at the club. He won three Champions Leagues on the bounce.
Yet Zidane isn’t a magician, and this season is a virtual write off.
Instead, the narrative has now shifted onto how Zidane will remake this squad in the summer.
The Evening Standard say Madrid want Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante.
Eden Hazard & N’Golo Kante
The Hazard to Real Madrid story is everywhere on Tuesday.
The Telegraph and Belgian paper HLN both report that Real Madrid have made an official approach to Chelsea to sign Hazard.
However the twist in the Standard’s tale is that N’Golo Kante is also on their shopping list.

Casemiro hasn’t performed to his highest levels this season, and a new enforcer could be in order at Real.
It’s been well-documented this season that Kante has been shifted into a more forward position under Maurizio Sarri.
Could the World Cup winner head to Madrid to reassert his status as the best holding midfielder in the world?

Kante’s contract situation at Chelsea
Chelsea are in a strong position when in comes to Kante.
Known as being one of the nicest guys in the game, Kante agreed a five year contract last November.
Kante became Chelsea’s top earner on 290,000 pounds a week in his new deal.
