Real Madrid have received a massive injury blow today as they were told that one of their star men is set to miss up to a month of action.
That comes in the form of defender Marcelo who has played a pivotal part in Madrid’s success over the past few years and more.
The Brazilian is one of the first names on the team sheet but that will not be the case for at least the next month.
It was reported today that the player has suffered a fibrillar break of grade 2 in his left leg.
While Marcelo has suffered a big blow in the sense of not playing for Real Madrid, he will also miss out with the national team.
The Brazilian national team have already reacted to the news that Marcelo will be out by swapping him out with Juventus’ Alex Sandro.
The defender spent the majority of the summer linked with Chelsea but they were unable to agree a deal with the Italian giants.
Sandro decided to commit his future to Juventus and will now be given his chance to impress ahead of Marcelo in the national team.
Real Madrid fans will just be hoping that one of their star players in Marcelo will be back for selection as soon as possible.

Aubameyang’s Real move
Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been speaking about his failed Real Madrid move this week.
The player was a big target for the Bernabeu club during the summer window and it looked at one point that a deal had been agreed.
Though the move did not happen and Aubameyang is very damning in his explanation and has revealed he will not speak of Real Madrid ever again.
