Cristiano Ronaldo v Bilbao

Real Madrid stars plead Bayern Munich man to join them after clash

They want Lewa

Real Madrid stars Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo personally asked Robert Lewandowski if he would join the club following his performance for Bayern Munich over two legs in the Champions League.

Real Madrid may have been the club who went through, but it didn’t stop Lewandowski becoming the all time top scorer against Real Madrid in the Champions League, and it impressed Ronaldo and Ramos.

Given how poor Karim Benzema can be at times as well, it makes sense for Real to be on the lookout for another forward.

Semi final derby

The Spanish side will face neighbours Atletico Madrid in the semi finals, after the draw was done, and it means there will be a Madrid side in the final for the third time in four years.

Of course, Real have beaten Atleti on the last two occasions in Europe – and Ramos and co will be aware that they need to do it again if they want to add another trophy to their cabinet.
