Real Madrid star on verge of penning new contract

A headline member of the midfield setup at Spanish giants Real Madrid is all set to commit his long-term future to the club, according to reports.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

French international Camavinga, as those of a Real persuasion will be will aware, has continued to shine across the early weeks of the new campaign.

Continuing to prove himself one of world football’s finest up-and-coming talents, the 20-year-old has been afforded appearances in all eight of Los Blancos’ fixtures, featuring from the off in six.

Not only that, but his versatility, and ability to fill in at left-back, make Camavinga an all-but indispensable member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

On Thursday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of the Frenchman inching towards fresh terms at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Camavinga is ‘on the verge’ of extending his Real Madrid contract.

His new deal will feature a considerable bump in salary, as well as a big-money release clause to ward off the advances of some of Europe’s top clubs.

In turn, it is concluded that:

‘Camavinga loves Real Madrid, Real love Eduardo who’s a key player for present and future.’
