La Liga transfer deadline
Spanish clubs still have a few weeks to conduct their summer transfer activity.
The La Liga transfer window closes on September 2nd.
Real Madrid & Neymar
On Sunday, Real Madrid are linked with a raft of high-profile players in the British press.
Starting in the Sunday Times, Neymar is once again labelled as a possible target for Los Blancos:
Neymar has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain team for the second successive week, amid speculation surrounding the Brazilian leaving the French champions for Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Could Barcelona sign Neymar?
Turning to the Spanish press, however, Barcelona’s efforts to re-sign Neymar are flagged up by Mundo Deportivo.
MD announce that Barcelona could sign Neymar on loan this summer, in an effort to avoid another huge outlay in transfer fees.
As part of the loan deal, Barcelona would be expected to commit to a compulsory purchase option for Neymar next summer.

Tottenham & Christian Eriksen
Yet again this weekend, Christian Eriksen’s Tottenham future is placed under the microscope.
The Sun believe that Real Madrid could try to sign Eriksen for 60 million pounds.
Eriksen’s contract at Tottenham expires at the end of the season, at which point the Dane will become a free agent.

However, the Mirror challenge suggestions that Eriksen may leave Spurs.
Instead, reporter Tom Hopkinson has announced that no clubs have made a move for Eriksen.
Accordingly, while teams like Real Madrid and Juventus continue to be linked with a possible swoop for the 27-year-old, Eriksen seems set to stay at Tottenham this season.

Man United & Paul Pogba
Journalist Duncan Castles has suggested that Paul Pogba could leave Man United to join Real Madrid in the Sunday Times:
Real Madrid are preparing to test Paul Pogba’s relationship with Manchester United by furthering a long-standing attempt to sign the France international.
So how likely is it that Pogba leaves Old Trafford this summer?
Readers are told that Man United “are expected to reject any offer for the 26-year-old.”
