RB Leipzig vs Tottenham 101 Great Goals prediction: RB Leipzig 3-1 Tottenham

Tottenham travel to Leipzig trailing the tie 1-0 following Timo Werner’s penalty in the first-leg.

Spurs must end a run of five games without a win to reach the next stage of the competition.

RB Leipzig are also looking to put behind them a run of two draws which has seen them slip up in the race for the Bundesliga title.

RB Leipzig vs Tottenham betting tips: Who will win?

RB Leipzig are at 4/7 to reach the quarter-finals with a win on Tuesday.

Tottenham can be backed at attractive, albeit unlikely, odds of 9/2.

The draw between the two sides is at 10/3 with Bet365.

In term of qualifying, the task facing Spurs is shown by odds of 1/8 for RB Leipzig. Spurs are 5/1 to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Another indication of how the bookies see this match is that RB Leipzig have 10 more likely goal scorers, before we get to a Tottenham player.

Timo Werner scored the only goal in the first leg and it would be no surprise if the German striker once again improved his reputation around Europe on Tuesday evening.

Champions League preview: RB Leipzig vs Tottenham

It was yet another disappointing evening for Spurs on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Despite ending a run of four straight defeats, Tottenham’s Champions League qualification hopes now look slim.

Spurs have continued to struggle without both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

The duo have accounted for around 50 percent of the north London’s clubs goals this season.

Dele Alli has attempted to fill the number 9 spot but the 24-year-old has so far struggled to adapt to the unfamiliar role.

Jose Mourinho will hope that Giovani Lo Celso returning to the line-up on Tuesday will help.

The Argentine came off the bench at Burnley and helped to drag Spurs to a point.

Leipzig to return to winning ways?

Following three draws in their last five games, Leipzig have fallen five points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side have been frustrated by both Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg in their last two games.

But on Tuesday, they will be looking to defend their 1-0 lead following Werner’s goal in the first-leg.

In London, Leipzig were relatively untested despite having three key defenders missing.

However, on Tuesday, Nagelsmann will have Dayot Upamencano available again for selection.

Meanwhile, Willi Orban could also feature after returning to the bench on the weekend.

RB Leipzig team news vs Tottenham

Dayot Upamecano is set to return to the line-up having missed the first-leg due to suspension.

Willy Orban returned from injury to make the bench on the weekend but remains a doubt to feature on Tuesday.

On-loan Chelsea defender Ethan Ampadu is also a doubt as he struggles with a back problem.

However, both Ibrahima Konate and Kevin Kampl remain unavailable through injury.

Tottenham team news vs RB Leipzig

Steven Bergwijn is Tottenham’s latest injury concern having picked up a knock at Burnley. The Dutchman did not train with Spurs on Monday, ahead of the flight to Germany.

The winger is ruled out on Tuesday. Tottenham did not put a time frame on how long Bergwijn will be out for, but it is expected to be a few weeks at least, due to an ankle injury.

Ben Davies is also a doubt after missing the trip to Burnley.

Juan Foyth is expected to return from a groin injury but is unlikely to be selected.

Heung-min Son, Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko remain sidelined.
