Scottish giants Rangers are ready to move for an oft-forgotten member of the first-team setup at Everton, according to reports.
The player in question? Asmir Begovic.
It is widely understood that the powers that be on the blue half of Glasgow are on the lookout for a new shot-stopper ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
This comes with current no.1 Allan McGregor set to turn 41 following the turn of the year.

And Begovic, it would appear, is one such option to have emerged as a potential target on the part of the Gers.
As per transfer journalist Alex Crook, the transfer team at Ibrox are mulling over a swoop for the aforementioned Begovic ahead of next season.
The Bosnian, who made the move to Goodison Park in 2021, is set to see the terms of his current contract expire next summer.
And Rangers are one club keen to take advantage of his imminent free agent status, by snapping Begovic up on a free transfer.
