Aaron Ramsey won’t ‘force’ an exit from Arsenal

Ramsey will stay for now

Aaron Ramsey has said he won’t force an exit from Arsenal.

The midfielder is yet to agree a new deal with the Gunners.

It seems he may well leave, with a host of Premier League clubs leading the race for his signature.

Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool are all thought to be keen on Ramsey.

Despite that, the player noted he will stay at Arsenal until his contract runs out.

Standard Sport report he said: “Of course, yeah. I am contracted to Arsenal. I am going to do my best now this season to try and achieve something special.”

Ozil’s deal causing issues

There have been rumours that the huge deal handed to Mesut Ozil is part of the problem.

The funds to keep players like Ramsey are thought to be tied up in Ozil’s deal.

Not to mention other players want parity with Ozil in terms of their deals.

Danny Welbeck is thought to be another player on the edge of leaving, due to his own contract situation.
