Raheem Sterling’s hilarious response to Guardiola’s post-Watford chat

Man City put six past Watford

Manchester City smashed Watford 6-0 on Saturday, winning the FA Cup and becoming the first male side to do the domestic treble in England.

David Silva would open the scoring for City in the 26th minute, before Gabriel Jesus made it 2-0 just before the break.

Kevin De Bruyne, Jesus and a Raheem Sterling brace would then add to Watford’s misery in the second 45.

Sterling & Guardiola’s conversation goes viral

Shortly after the game, a video did the rounds on social media, showing Pep Guardiola giving Sterling a stern talking-to right after he had scored a brace in the FA Cup final:

Raheem Sterling has since responded to the viral video in hilarious fashion.

Sterling quote tweeted the video with the caption: ‘He just said I shouldn’t have tried to steal that first goal…’.

The City attacker was, of course, referring to the Citizens’ second goal, which Gabriel Jesus scored but Sterling tried to tap in on the line.
