The Times on Wednesday morning have gone about trying to predict the respective line-ups for the Everton vs Man City match.
Will it be another game of ‘Pep roulette’ for the Sky Blues?
Guardiola has regularly shaken up his side this season. Last weekend, for example, Leory Sane missed out as City beat Arsenal 3-1 in the league.
According to the Times, Sane is predicted to return to the starting XI against Everton.
However while the German may play against the Toffees, Raheem Sterling has been omitted from the predicted Man City XI.
Sergio Aguero, fresh from his hat-trick against the Gunners, is expected to start in attack.
Elsewhere, having played out of position against Arsenal, Fernandinho is set to play in his holding midfield role.
John Stones is in line to return at centre-half.
How will Everton line up vs Man City?
Marco Silva is under pressure at Everton.
While the Toffees may be ninth in the league, their form stinks right now.
Everton have only won once in their last six Premier League home games. They also have six defeats in their last nine league games.
Will Man City hand Everton another defeat tonight?
Considering how Everton may line-up, Lucas Digne is set to return at left-back following a one-match ban. It’s also worth noting that Leighton Baines is injured for the City game.
Idrissa Gana Gueye, who wanted to join PSG in January, is also set to return to the team.
Theo Walcott may be dropped, while Bernard could operate for Everton down the right hand side.
