PSG troll Barcelona over Neymar and Alves as they lose to Real Madrid

Oh dear

PSG are known for having quite a funny social media team – especially their English Twitter account, and it seems they were on good form during the second leg of the SuperCopa, which was of course the first El Clasico of the season.

Real Madrid won the first leg, and took a commanding lead in the second, after goals from Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema, and it just so happened at the exact time Barcelona were losing, PSG decided to produce two tweets, the first showing pictures of Neymar and Dani Alves – who of course also used to play for Barcelona, and the second showing Neymar.

The picture of Neymar quickly went viral, with the majority of people assuming it was a troll – and while it could just have been an amazing coincidence, it seems they certainly won a few fans by doing so.

That being said, they may well face Barcelona in Europe this season, and should know by now not to troll the Cules before the fat lady has sung so to speak – something Angel Di Maria certainly found out to his cost.

Barcelona issues

Barcelona fans are rightly furious about the sale of Neymar – as no one wants to see the best players leave their club, but they’re also well aware there were issues long before that, and the club’s recruitment policy has been flawed for some time.

Arguably, the last world class signing made by the board was Luis Suarez, and the club certainly haven’t done very much in terms of being the biggest players in the transfer market since – and have also failed to see any real talent emerge from their academy and break through into the first team in the last couple of seasons.

That’s in direct contrast to Real Madrid, who saw Marco Asensio shine over both legs of the game, and also saw Lucas Vasquez play.
