Amazing Newcastle stat revealed

After drawing with Bournemouth, a rather bizarre stat has emerged about Newcastle.

Last season, their first campaign back in the Premier League, Rafa Benitez’s side would finish in an impressive 10th place.

After 31 games of last season, Newcastle had won nine, drawn eight, lost 14, conceded 40 and scored 31.

Now, after a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, Newcastle have amassed the exact same number of wins, draws, losses, goals scored and goals conceded as they had done by this stage last season.

However, while Newcastle finished 10th last season, they are currently six points off 10th place. They are unlikely to finish there this time around.

Newcastle’s next game is away to Arsenal on April 1st.
