Liverpool predicted XI vs Porto
On Tuesday the Times have predicted how Liverpool will line up against Porto.
Jurgen Klopp met the press on Tuesday, and the German confirmed he had no plans to field a B-team.
But Klopp did indicate that he could make a handful of rotations following last weekend’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United.
Up front Liverpool should deploy their super front three: Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
However Klopp is tipped to make a few changes in midfield. Two of Liverpool’s standout players against the Magpies were Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
But the Times believe those England international will sit out the Porto second leg. James Milner should start, while Adam Lallana is set to make his first start for two months.
Klopp is currently blessed with a fully-fit squad for the first time this season. That means changes could also be made at the back. Alberto Moreno and Joe Gomez could come into the side.
Loris Karius will again start in goal, while Virgil Van Dijk may partner with Joel Matip at the heart of the defence.
