Arkadiusz Milik freak injury scare
Poland international striker Arkadiusz Milik reportedly suffered a major injury scare on Saturday in a freak incident.
As reported by Football Italia, Milik has hurt his hand over the weekend.
Rather than suffering the injury during a Poland training session, Milik’s problem happened during time off.
The Polish squad visited a Dolphinarium in Russia. However Milik’s day out went sour when he slipped and fell. The Napoli attacker fell on his hand after slipping on a puddle.
The only good news for Milik is that he didn’t fracture his hand. Instead he only bruised it.
Milik, of course, has suffered badly with injuries during his career.
Poland vs Senegal
Milik should be available for Poland when they take on Segenal on Tuesday at the World Cup.
Poland and Senegal are battling with Japan and Colombia in Group H.
Poland are also sweating over the fitness of Kamel Glik for the Senegal game.
Glik, the 30-year-old defender, injured himself in Poland’s World Cup preparations when he attempted an overhead-kick in training.
