Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: I’m not 100%
There are fresh quotes from Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before Wednesday’s Premier League match at Arsenal.
Aubameyang was on fire against Tottenham last weekend in the north London derby.
The Arsenal striker scored twice – his second goal was a beauty.
Aubameyang is now the leading scorer in the Premier League with 10 goals. That’s two more than Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling.
However, according to the Gabonese centre-forward, he’s still not in peak condition:
I think I’m not at 100% but it’s coming. It’s coming and against Spurs I felt very good on the pitch.
I like to play up front but I know that I can help the team. Sometimes the coach puts me on the left side but as I said it [centre forward] is my favourite position.
