Piazon’s Chelsea career coming to an end?
Chelsea winger Lucas Piazon could finally be about to leave the club permanently after spending the majority of his career on loan.
The Brazilian forward was once tipped for great things with Chelsea.
Though, despite being on the clubs book since the 2011/2012 season, Piazon has only made three appearances for the first team.
Despite spending eight years with Chelsea, the majority of his time has been spent out on loan.
In fact, the last time Piazon was not out on loan was the 2012/13 season when he was tested in the first team.
Even still, Piazon was shipped out to Malaga midway through the season to get some first-team experience.
Piazon then moved to Vitesse Arnhem on loan, enjoying his most successful season to date.
He played 29 Eredivisie games, scoring 11 goals and assisting 8.
The season after Piazon had an unsuccessful loan spell at Frankfurt.
That was followed up by a pretty average season on loan at Reading.
After that, Piazon spent two seasons with Fulham on loan but didn’t do enough to convince them over a permanent deal.
Now, Piazon is back at Chelsea but he may not be for long.
Poor Lucas Piazon, 24 years old, zero appearances this season, not even linked to a club in the transfer window. Loaning players doesn’t have to be a problem, hoarding average players to benefit from loan fees is, when will the madness stop?

Chelsea loan nightmare coming to an end?
That is because according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, there are several clubs chasing a deal for Piazon.
Sporting Braga have supposedly made contact with Chelsea over a deal for Piazon.
However, they aren’t the only ones interested.
According to Di Marzio, Serie A sides Sassuolo and Empoli are both also interested in Piazon.
