Photo: ‘Jurgen Klopp’ spotted watching on from back garden at Spurs’ meeting with Marine
An amusing photo taken at the clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Marine has gone viral on social media this evening.
Vinicius running riot
Jose Mourinho’s men are currently locked in action with 8th-tier outfit Marine, in the club’s FA Cup season opener.
The visitors, for reasons which don’t require stating, headed into proceedings as overwhelming favourites to book their spot in the 4th-round, with minnows Marine having done remarkably well to even make it to this point in the competition.
And, as things stand, the clash is playing out exactly as expected.
Early in the 2nd-half on Merseyside, Spurs lead by 4 goals to nil, on the back of a completely dominant opening 45 minutes.
Carlos Vinicius has proven the star of the show thus far, opening the game’s scoring just past the 20-minute mark, before adding his 2nd and 3rd over the ensuing quarter of an hour:

The standout moment of the first-half, though, came courtesy of Brazilian teammate Lucas Moura, who bent a stunning free-kick inside the near post, despite the best efforts of the home crowd:

‘Klopp’ watches on
Action on the pitch aside, though, as outlined above, another somewhat bizarre scene outside Marine’s ground this evening has also piqued plenty of attention online.
As the hosts continued to take a beating at the hands of their heavyweight opponents, one fan watching on from his back garden introduced a familiar, albeit altogether unexpected face to the fray.
The individual in question? Jurgen Klopp.
As showcased below, one local supporter, for reasons unknown, pulled out a cardboard cutout of the Liverpool boss, before taking his place alongside the German on his garden’s back wall:
