Phil Foden hoping to take Man City’s Champions League form into Premier League ahead of Fulham clash
Man City vs Fulham
Manchester City return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.
The Citizens will play host to Fulham, in what should prove a routine 3 points for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Fulham’s form has improved slightly of late. However, Scott Parker’s side are still in possession of the worst defensive record in the English top-flight this season.
And though City haven’t exactly been firing on all cylinders, they should nevertheless see out a comfortable win.

Foden on Man City’s form
Man City head into their latest outing languishing in 11th place in the Premier League table, having dropped points on 5 occasions already this season.
The Sky Blues, though, have looked much more impressive in the Champions League of late, winning four and drawing one of their five group stage outings – netting 10 and conceding just one in the process.
This is the sort of form that City would, of course, no doubt love to carry onto the domestic front, too.
And one individual who is certainly hopeful of as much ahead of the Manchester giants’ meeting with Fulham is Phil Foden:
“The year has been crazy.
“I feel like the fans not being there has played a part in some of the strange results we’ve seen. Everyone is in the same boat, though.
“We haven’t had the best of starts, but there are still a lot of points to play for and anything can happen.
“We have struggled to score goals this season. One thing we are used to doing is scoring a lot of goals and this year, it hasn’t quite happened in front of goal.
“Obviously to beat Burnley 5-0 has given everyone a confidence boost and we believe we can build on that.
“We have had a lot of good results in the Champions League which is massive for us because that is a competition we want to win.
“I am hoping we can take that form into the league now.”
