Petr Cech’s agent has given an update on his clients future amid suggestions he could be set for a return to Chelsea if they sell Thibaut Courtois.
The former Stamford Bridge stopper has fallen down the pecking order after Bernt Leno was brought in by Unai Emery.
That means he will likely be the second choice next season and could leave the club for one final move.
Incredibly, Chelsea are said to be interested in re-signing him to replace Thibaut Courtois who has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid.
Cech was actually sold by the club originally to allow Courtois to bloom and become the goalkeeper today.
Though, with the Belgian possibly set to reunite with his family in Madrid, Chelsea are on the lookout for a goalkeeper.
Now, Cech’s agent Viktor Kolar has given an update on his future by explaining that no offers have been made for the player.
“It is always busy during every transfer window around Petr Cech, as a great Premier League person,” he explained to ESPN, as cited by the Daily Mirror.
“However, he maximally focuses on the new season at Arsenal, no specific offer is available.”
Unai Emery spoke out about his three goalkeepers recently and how he wants to use them all.
“I want to work with Petr Cech, with Bernd Leno, with Emiliano Martinez, with Matt Macey, with Ospina,” Emery explained, again quoted by the Daily Mirror.
“It’s clear that we have a lot of goalkeepers but we want to work in the future with three goalkeepers in the first team.
“Now, I want to look, I want to work every day with all the goalkeepers and then I am going to decide.”
