Trophy hunt continues

Manchester City will continue their quest for the Quadruple when they take on Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow evening, with a trip to Wembley awaiting the winners.

Pep Guardiola spoke to the media this afternoon and begun by discussing the Champions League Quarter Final draw, which saw them tied with Borussia Dortmund, and Erling Haaland.

When asked about the links between the player and City, Guardiola responded;

“He is a player for Borussia Dortmund. I don’t like it when people speak about my players.”

Guardiola also spoke about Everton and the task ahead of them and was also full of praise for Everton manager, Carlo Ancelotti.

“The quality of players is there- no doubts about that. “

“They’re fighting for qualification for the Champions League – that shows how good they have been.”

“He has been manager of some of the best clubs in Europe – Milan, Juventus, Napoli, PSG, Madrid. All places he had success.”

“He took care of me when I started. I visited him when he was at Milan. Always off the pitch he is so gentle. I admire him a lot.”

Should Man City emerge triumphantly, then the talk of the Quadruple will only increase!
