Paulo Dybala reveals the words exchanged with Jose Mourinho during heated post-match argument

Paulo Dybala has insisted that he did not insult Jose Mourinho following Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Juventus.

The Red Devils claimed a crucial three points in Turin on Wednesday to move them a step closer to reaching the Round of 16.

Following the victory, Mourinho cupped his ear to the home support, which Dybala took a distaste to and forced him to intervene.

Dybala on Mourinho: “There was no need to make that gesture”

The Argentinian claims he told Mourinho his celebration created further unnecessary tension.

The Portuguese coach was subject to ridicule from the home support at the Allianz Stadium during the clash.

Dybala claims that although the abuse was unfair, there was no need for Mourinho’s reaction.

Dybala told Sky Sport Italia:

“I just told him that there was no need to make that gesture.

“There was no need to create more tension than there already was, sometimes you get insulted and it’s bad, but to create more tension than there already is…

“I told him there was no need, I didn’t insult him. I just told him that and left.”

Champions League review: Juventus 1-2 Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Champions League goal for the Bianconeri was quickly overshadowed by Manchester United’s remarkable comeback.

The 33-year-old produced a stunning strike before two late goals from the Red Devils stole the show.

Juan Mata equalised with an exquisite free-kick just four minutes from time before a Leonardo Bonucci own goal sealed the win.
