Paul Pogba previews Manchester United vs Manchester City

Manchester United vs Manchester City

Manchester United host Manchester City on Wednesday in what should be a very interesting game.

City head into the game knowing if they win their remaining four league fixtures they will be Premier League champions for a second successive season.

The derby is also Man City’s game in hand on Liverpool who do not play until Friday vs Huddersfield.

As for Man United, they go into the tie in 6th place. They are three points behind 4th place Chelsea who have played one more game.

United are, however, on a bit of a poor run of form and got smashed 4-0 by Everton in their last outing.

Pogba loves the big games

After losing three of their last five league games, United could have really done with an easy game to bounce back with.

Facing Pep Guardiola’s Man City side will be the exact opposite of that.

But that doesn’t seem to be bothering Paul Pogba who claims he is relishing the chance to play against a top side:

“Speaking for myself, I love playing against top teams with top players. I love to play against them, it is a game I look at, I learn a lot and I gain experience.

“I just want to play well against this team and you want to win.”

Despite his optimism, Pogba has scored just two and assisted none in his last six league outings.
