Reports across the European media this afternoon suggest that Paul Pogba has begun pushing for a departure from Manchester United.
Speculation surrounding the future of United star man Pogba has been rife this summer.
On the back of a hit-and-miss campaign last time out, during which the Frenchman again proved himself to be one of the most infuriatingly-inconsistent players in world football, Pogba was heavily-targeted by the United faithful on the final day of the season:

As such, the growing tension between the 26-year-old and the Red Devils, coupled with Real Madrid’s public chase of a superstar midfield addition, have resulted in Pogba being hotly-tipped to make a move to the Bernabeu.
The former Juventus man’s agent, Mino Raiola, meanwhile, added fuel to the flames regarding a potential summer exit from Old Trafford for his client last month, in admitting:
‘Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes.’
‘Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.’

To this point, however, Pogba has stayed put, with United continuing to count on their star midfielder for next season.
As per a number of updates across the European media this afternoon, though, the World Cup winner is now attempting to force the hand of the Manchester giants.

Pogba was omitted from Manchester United’s squad to take on AC Milan in a pre-season friendly today, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having subsequently assured that this was simply down to the Frenchman suffering from back spasms.
Jose Alvarez Haya of Spanish outlet El Chiringuito TV, however, has since suggested otherwise.
It is adamantly claimed that Pogba is not injured, and that the midfield maestro refused to travel with the rest of his United teammates to face Milan, as he continues to push for a move to Real Madrid:
EXCLUSIVA: #Pogba NO tiene ninguna lesión. No ha viajado por decisión propia ya que no está feliz con su situación y quiere irse al #RealMadrid. Así se lo comunicó a Solksjaer en el último entrenamiento. La salida sigue complicada ya que Woodward no cede.#mufc @elchiringuitotv pic.twitter.com/0eMNj2yKGh

French journalist Romain Molina, meanwhile, has since backed Haya’s claim.
Under the guidance of Mino Raiola, it is said that Pogba is attempting to ‘force’ his way out of Old Trafford.
Significantly, though, it is added that Real Madrid will not fork out the fee being demanded by United:
Bon, Pogba va forcer son départ (sous les bons conseils de tonton Raiola). Le souci étant l’indemnite de transfert demandée par Ed Woodward ; la direction du Real ne montera pas au prix voulu actuellement. Ça va être fun les prochains jours, des deux côtés
