Paul Pogba misses Man United training

According to Norwegian outlet Dagbladet, Paul Pogba was nowhere to be seen when Man United held a training session at the Bislett Stadium on Tuesday.

Man United had a warm-up before tonight’s pre-season friendly against Kristiansund.

Dagbladet report that it’s unclear whether Pogba will be involved in Man United’s match in a few hours.

Dagbladet told their readers:

In other words, Pogba is still in Norway, but does not train with the team.

The Mirror have since reported that “the Frenchman has a back injury and sat out a light training session on Tuesday morning”.

However, the Mirror also stated that Pogba is a doubt for the Kristiansund friendly.

Paul Pogba skips meet & greet

Moreover, the paper reveal that Pogba skipped a meet and greet event with fans on Monday.

Instead of taking pictures and signing autographs like the rest of his teammates, “Pogba went straight to his hotel room.”

Real Madrid’s Pogba chase

At the same time, Spanish paper AS are reporting that Real Madrid plan to step up their chase to sign Paul Pogba:

The recruitment of Paul Pogba has now taken on a greater degree of urgency. The midfielder is the one signing that Zidane has expressly asked club president Florentino Pérez to make.

But can Real Madrid really afford Pogba’s asking price?

Of course, Los Blancos seem on course to retain Gareth Bale this season after a move to China collapsed over the weekend.
