A Miroslav Klose inspired Lazio side won 3-0 away at Palermo on Sunday evening but the game was temporarily suspended early in the second half.
A firework – thrown by the Palermo home fans – exploded extremely close to 29-year-old Italian winger Antonio Candreva.
With Antonio Candreva clasping his ears in pain, the referee immediately decided to suspend the match (for the second time.)
Major clashes have taken place between Palermo and Lazio fans on Sunday and there was trouble in the stands during the game.
