Palace boost: Marco Silva reveals Everton injury blow

Major problem for Everton

Crystal Palace have been handed a boost ahead of their clash with Everton after Marco Silva revealed a major injury blow.

The Toffees are set to go head to head with Roy Hodgson’s side in a game that is pretty important for their season.

Marco Silva’s Everton are still in the race for a top seven spot and with that could earn a place in the Europa League next season.

With Wolves winning against Arsenal on Wednesday night, Everton are now in need of a win against Palace to keep their seventh place dream alive.

However, there was a major injury blow during their clash with Manchester United last weekend.

Not only did Lucas Digne suffer a problem, star summer signing Richarlison had to be withdrawn too.

Now, Marco Silva has given an update on both of those players, though it’s bad news for the latter.

“He will be a major doubt for us”

That is because according to Silva, Richarlison is a major doubt for the clash with Palace.

The Brazilian supposedly ‘tried’ to train yesterday but felt ‘different’.

As a result, he is now likely to miss the game.

“Richarlison we have big doubts if he is able to play,” Silva explained in his press conference, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“He will be a major doubt for us.”

Thankfully for Everton fans, Silva did also confirm that Lucas Digne will be okay for this game.

Not only that, but Yerry Mina is also starting to train with the team again following injury.

“Lucas Digne is okay. Mina starts [training] with the team also,” he continued.
