Former Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer has this evening discussed whether he intends to celebrate, should the Spaniard go on to find the net versus the Blaugrana on Tuesday night.
Dortmund vs Barcelona
Alcacer’s Dortmund are set to welcome the La Liga champions to the Westfalenstadion in 2 days’ time, for the respective sides’ Champions League opener.
BVB are set to head into proceedings sitting in 2nd-place in the Bundesliga table, a point adrift of early pace-setters RB Leipzig.
Dortmund’s latest outing, versus Bayer Leverkusen yesterday afternoon, saw Lucien Favre’s men get their form back on track.
After falling to a surprise 3-1 defeat at the hands of Union Berlin ahead of the international break, Dortmund put Leverkusen to the sword by 4 goals to nil, in a dominant display.
Paco Alcacer, Marco Reus (2) and Raphael Guerreiro bagged the goals for the hosts, with Jadon Sancho having starred once again with a pair of assists.
Two assists today…so about that pass rating 😉 https://t.co/nZ1lLAVMWK

‘Decide in the moment’
And one of BVB’s goal-scorers yesterday evening has since opened up on the prospect of doing likewise versus Barcelona.
Paco Alcacer departed the Camp Nou for the Westfalenstadion on a permanent basis this past summer, after enjoying a prolific loan stint with Dortmund last season.
The Spanish hitman, however, is as of yet undecided regarding whether or not he will opt to celebrate, should he find the net versus his former employers in two days’ time:
‘I’ll decide in the moment,’ Alcacer told SER Catalunya (via beIN Sports).
‘I have respect for many people there. Many peopled behaved very well with me. But many people behaved very badly. My team-mates and the fans treated me well.’
‘As in any job, if people trust you, you give your best. And if they don’t trust you, you don’t give it.’
‘It’s very important for me to see those signs of trust. And in the end, many people did not show it.’
