Spurs vs Man Utd
Tottenham host Manchester United in one of the games of the weekend on Sunday afternoon in a match Spurs will feel they need to win if they want to keep alive their top 4 hopes.
Jose Mourinho’s team sit in 6th place, two points outside the top 4 and behind their London rivals Chelsea and West Ham.
For Mourinho the game also takes on a special meaning as he faces off against his most recent employer, but also allows him to review the last time the side’s met, which Spurs won 6-1 at Old Trafford.
On that game Mourinho said, “I believe that 6-1 doesn’t reflect the reality. It can happen. Of course it can happen between two great teams, the results they can happen in an isolated way. I go much more in the direction of the other two previous matches between us and United”
“We lost 2-1 at Old Trafford, with the penalty, and we draw 1-1 at home last season, also with a penalty. I think this is more the reality. We are not far from each other so I think it is going difficult match for both. ”
Jose Mourinho also interrupted his press conference to comment on the passing of HRH Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh.
Jose Mourinho interrupts his presser to react to the news of Prince Philip’s death: “I want to express my condolences to the Royal family. To be very honest, I have a deep deep deep respect for the Royal family. All my condolences. It’s not just this country sharing this feeling”
