The name of Argentine starlet Garnacho, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines once more over the last couple of hours.

This comes after the 18-year-old, days on from dazzling en route to a pair of assists against Aston Villa, again proved the star of the show.

Introduced off the bench late in a Premier League meeting with Fulham, with the scoreline locked at a goal apiece, Garnacho surged in behind the Cottagers’ defence deep into injury time, to slot a fine winner beyond the clutches of Bernd Leno:

United’s latest breakthrough academy talent, in turn, has since been widely hailed, singled out by many as ‘the next big thing’ on the red half of Manchester.

And, as alluded to above, one fellow member of the up-and-coming crop of talent at Old Trafford was quick to join the Garnacho love-in.

The player in question? Amad Diallo.

Wide-man Amad is currently in the midst of a loan spell in the Championship, with Tony Mowbray’s Sunderland.

On Sunday, though, he tuned in to watch his parent club’s latest exploits, before taking to social media to hail the talents of his one-time teammate
