Solskjaer provides updates on Man United players
Manchester United are not in action this weekend due to the winter break.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has still provided an update on several Man United players on Saturday the 8th of February.
Scott McTominay was a pivotal member of the Red Devils’ midfield in the first half of the campaign.
Unfortunately for United, though, the Scotsman has missed their last six league ties due to injury.
But Solskjaer has, on Saturday, handed the Man United faithful some good news regarding McTominay.
OGS stated that the midfielder is doing better than expected in his recovery, so he will be traveling with United to Spain during the winter break.
The Man United boss also confirmed that Axel Tuanzebe, who has not featured for the club in the league since December, will also be traveling to Spain:
“Scotty has done better in his recovery than we thought, so we will take him with us.
“Hopefully he can join in the training sessions and Axel as well, he’ll join in, so that’s two positives and it’s a good chance for them to use this time with the players.”
The Norwegian also gave a brief update on Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, confirming that they are both still not ready to join in training:
“Marcus and Paul are not ready yet to join in the training.

Chelsea vs Man United
Man United’s first game back after the winter break could prove to be a crucial tie.
The Manchester powerhouse will travel to Chelsea on the 17th of February.
United are currently six points adrift of 4th placed Chelsea, and should the Reds lose at Stamford Bridge, it would likely be detrimental to their hopes of finishing in the top-four this term.
