Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provides updates on Lindelof & Chong after Man United pair forced off vs Inter
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has this evening provided brief updates on the fitness of Victor Lindelof and Tahith Chong.
Man United 1-0 Inter Milan
The Red Devils went head-to-head with Serie A giants Inter Milan in Singapore a short time ago, in their 3rd outing of pre-season.
After putting Perth Glory to the sword by 2 goals to nil last weekend, United followed up with an even more impressive display during the week, when they put 4 past rivals Leeds United without reply.
And the positive form of the Premier League giants continued this afternoon.
A dominant performance eventually saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men push past Inter, courtesy of a solitary strike from Mason Greenwood 15 minutes from time.
‘Should be OK’
United’s win, however, was accompanied by a worrying blow on the injury front.
The player to have picked up the problem was Victor Lindelof, with the stopper having been forced off just shy of the hour mark with a thigh problem:

Starlet Tahith Chong who, like match-winner Greenwood, impressed the masses this afternoon, was also withdrawn with an injury of his own.
As such, speaking in the aftermath of his side’s 3rd straight pre-season victory, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was this evening questioned on the wellbeing of both Lindelof and Chong.
The United boss, though, appeared to assuage any long-term fears:
‘We don’t know yet… I think they should be OK.’
‘We’ll have to assess it (Lindelof) tomorrow. I don’t blame the defenders for trying to stop him (Chong).’
