Solskjaer said of Cavani, who has been absent since their game with West Brom last month, “Edi has trained this morning and hopefully there is no reaction. There are another another couple of knocks that we have to look at from the (Chelsea) game and from the season’s wear and tear. ”
“It looks good. Edi has got the desire and hunger and, of course, he wants to join in, even if it’s from the bench. Hopefully he’ll say tomorrow that there’s been no reaction.”
He also confirmed that Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Phil Jones remain sidelined.

The Man Utd manager also confirmed that Phil Jones could miss the entire season.

The England defender has been struggling to overcome a knee in injury and Solskjaer says there is no guarantee he will return before the end of the season.
“Phil is working really hard but I know all about knee injuries. How long is a piece of rope? We will give him every chance to get back this season. If not hopefully he will recover for the start of next.”
Man Utd will be looking to cement their place in the Champions League places tomorrow night at Selhurst Park and continue to put some pressure on rivals Manchester City, even though it seems the race for the Premier League title is run.
