Turkish giants Galatasaray have this evening confirmed the signing of West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli for an undisclosed fee.
Feghouli arrived at the Olympic Stadium on a free transfer from Spanish side Valencia last summer with high expectations on his shoulders, but endured an up-and-down debut campaign in the Premier League.
Despite his inconsistencies, the talent which had seen the Algerian international previously linked with the likes of Arsenal and Roma was evident on numerous occasions, with the winger racking up 4 goals and 3 assists across all competitions.
While Feghouli continually insisted that he was happy at West Ham earlier this summer, the 27-year-old has been the subject of constant transfer speculation over recent weeks, with clubs in Spain and Turkey the most heavily linked with a move.
And it is a club from the latter of these leagues who have confirmed the signing of the African wide-man this evening, with Galatasaray having posted the following on social media:
