Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the transfer of Ousmane Dembele to the Catalan giants who will now undergo his medical.
The Frenchman has been attempting to force through a move from the German giants to Barcelona by going on strike over recent weeks.
The player left Germany to return to his native France and was refusing to return to the club while they stood firm on interest from the Camp Nou side.
That was until the club offered a transfer fee of €105m initially with €42m in potential bonuses which finally cause the club to crack.
Though, the bridges were well and truly burned in Germany with the clubs relationship with the player after refusing to return clearly in tatters.
Reports regarding Dembele and Barcelona began following Neymar’s €222m sale to Paris Saint Germain after they triggered his release clause.
The Brazilian was one of the huge factors in Barcelona’s success during his time at the club and was always going to be a huge loss to the team.
The club moved quickly to respond to the players’ departure and swiftly identified Dembele as the man to replace Neymar.
It may be some humongous boots to fill, but if any player in European football is capable of following in Neymar’s footsteps, it’s Ousmane Dembele.

While it has not been confirmed just yet, reports this morning suggested that the player would undergo his medical this coming Monday.
Reports on Twitter claimed that the Frenchman would take on the standard medical tests early in the morning before his move is completely finalized.
It is not yet seen as to when the player will make his Barcelona debut due to the lack of training and playing time the player has been involved in recently.
Having gone on strike at Dortmund, it may take a couple of weeks for the player to get back into the rhythm of top level football.
