Norwich’s Max Aarons roped into the Man United, Aaron Wan-Bissaka transfer chase

Man United & Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Once again on Tuesday, reports are doing the rounds linking Manchester United to Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

At this point, the United links to Wan-Bissaka are somewhat old news.

According to the Evening Standard, Crystal Palace are bracing themselves for a fresh bid from Man United for their 21-year-old right-back:

Man United have already failed with an opening offer for the defender, which was believed to be around the £40million mark.

However, they are now expected to return with an improved bid for Wan-Bissaka.

Norwich’s Max Aarons

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol ‏has expanded on the Man United – Wan-Bissaka transfer story on Tuesday afternoon.

Solhekol claims that if Crystal Palace sell Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United, the Eagles will look to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.

In addition, Man United also retain an interest in Norwich’s Aarons, if AWB proves unattainable.

And if that wasn’t enough, Tottenham are also linked to the Norwich full-back.

Who is Max Aarons?

Max Aarons is a 19-year-old English defender who has risen through the youth system at Carrow Road.

Aarons is under contract with the newly-promoted Premier League side until 2023.

The teenager was voted the EFL Young Player of the Season in 2018-19.

He played 41 times for Norwich in the Championship last term, scoring twice and chipping in with six assists.
