Will Max Aarons play against Man City?
The good news for Norwich fans is that there’s a chance that Max Aarons is fit to play against Man City this weekend.
Pep Guardiola’s charges head to Carrow Road in the Premier League on Saturday.
Speaking to the Pink Un.com after the England match, Aarons discussed his injury against Kosovo:
It is just precautionary. I have the crutches out as well but let’s see in the morning. Hopefully nothing too serious.
I thought initially when I made the tackle it was my left knee and there was a lot of pain but by the time I got back to the changing room and then had a shower it felt a lot better.
The physios have had a look and it is the left ankle area so that is why I have got the boot on.
The Norwich full-back also previewed the Man City game.
Specifically, Aarons discussed the prospect of trying to nullify Raheem Sterling at the weekend:
We know how tough it will be. You want to test yourself against the best players and to be doing that at highest level against the best in the world is what it is all about.
Raheem Sterling has been brilliant this season and scored a lot of goals but it is about us.
For me personally I want to qualify for the Euros with England at this level and for Norwich to play as many games as I can and hopefully help the side to stay up. I really believe we will.
