Stoke City vs West Brom
Two sides fighting for their Premier League lives met at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
Stoke came into the game having lost five of their last six Premier League fixtures.
As for West Brom, they are yet to win under new manager Alan Padrew.
Nightmare for Nacer Chadli
It’s a been a horrid season for Belgium midfielder Nacer Chadli.
Chadli has been absent since the 1-0 defeat to Southampton in October with a thigh problem.
Last season, when West Brom were flying high in the Premier League, Chadli was one of their key players.
And on Saturday against Stoke, Alan Pardew brought Chadli off the bench in the second half as the Baggies tried to claw back the game.
Chadli replaced James McClean at the break after Stoke went 2-up in the first half.
Joe Allen opened before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting made it two.
Nacer Chadli’s return lasted less than 20 minutes. In a horrible blow to the player, he was forced out the game with an injury on the hour mark.
It seems certain that Chadli will now miss West Brom’s festive fixtures against Everton, Arsenal and West Ham.
Unfortunately he’ll likely be out for a lot longer than just the new year.
Nacer Chadli has had terrible luck with injuries and now after a brief appearance as a sub he is helped off.

Chadli is down and he's feeling his thigh. No contact was made. Think he's going to have to come off.

After more than a month on the sidelines – Nacer Chadli lasts less than 15 minutes before pulling up with another injury. #WBA
